Elise Metzger is a Chicago-based interior designer and creative director. She is the founder of Forward Fruit, an interior design firm specializing in polished and colorful interiors, and co-founder of Filigree Suppers (a design driven supper cub which ran from 2015 - 2020). She directs an exciting range of interior design projects, from high-end residential to boutique commercial.

While her love of the arts is life-long, she began her formal design education as an architecture and design student, and her career creating retail displays and museum exhibits.

She has created large scale retail environments for Anthropologie, helped revitalize and develop brands for SC Johnson, designed trade show booths and branded environments for Brainlab, art directed and styled photo shoots for several national food and home decor brands, and launched a multi-city, design driven supper club. Her work has been featured in media outlets such as Martha Stewart and Rue, and written about in Travel and Leisure and Luxe Interiors and Design. 

Elise holds a BFA in Interior Design and Architectural Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Masters of Design Strategy from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology.
